Day 10 - December 21st 2008
It was bound to rain again today and unfortunately we were getting a little antsy with all the rain taking a toll on a lot of our plans! We were “planning” to check out Rotorua, which is a volcanic area where you can take day hikes and tours around to check out cool landscapes, geysers and mud pools, but we didn’t want to pay money for a hike to specifically take photos and have it down pour on us, so we zipped through town onward to our next destination, Waipu Caves.
In the meantime, we couldn’t resist leaving Rotorua without doing anything, so when we came across the ZORBING place, we had to do it! Check out the website if you want to see more info! http://www.zorb.co.nz/
So, Chris & I got into our bathing suits, paid about $20 each (US) to get into a giant, inflated ball with an inner ball filled with water that you actually sit in and we rolled down the hill and had the time of our lives!! It was so much fun, a completely off the wall, ridiculous good time!!

.. this was also the perfect opportunity for Bertram (from Family Guy) to finally assert his authority on our trip!
“Stop you infidels! What are you thinking?!”
... and down the hill you go!
